Photovoltaic welding ribbonThe quality of the product has a great impact on the entirePhotovoltaic cellsThe impact is huge, the quality of photovoltaic welding tape is crucial, so it is very important to do a good job of testing photovoltaic welding tape. What are the inspection standards for photovoltaic welding tape? How to test the quality of photovoltaic welding tape?
The inspection of photovoltaic welding ribbons is generally carried out by the manufacturer's quality inspection department, and they can only be shipped after they have passed the inspection and attached a certificate of conformity to ensure that the product quality complies with the requirements of this standard and fill in the product shipment inspection report.
The purchaser shall re-test the received products according to the provisions of this standard. If the re-test results are inconsistent with the provisions of this standard, the purchaser shall submit a written report to the supplier for negotiation. If arbitration is required, it can be conducted by an inspection agency recognized by both parties, and the sampling shall be conducted by both parties.
Tinned copper stripProduct inspection is divided into type inspection and factory inspection. Factory inspection of tinned copper strips should be carried out in batches. Each batch should consist of products of the same specifications produced continuously under the same raw materials (same base material, same coating solder) and the same process. Type inspection should be carried out at least once every six months. Type inspection should be carried out if any of the following situations occurs:
——Test and identify new products;
——When the product is transferred to another factory for production;
——When there are major changes in raw materials, formulas, or processes;
——When resuming production after a suspension of more than half a year;
——When there is a significant difference between the factory inspection results and the type inspection results;
——When the quality supervision agency makes an inspection request.
Type inspection items are all items specified in this standard
Inspection items | Sampling regulations | Required chapter number | Chapter number of the test method | Allowable number of defective products | Type inspection | Factory inspection |
Appearance | The total number of bundles/rolls/reels/axles is the batch size, and the special inspection level S-3 in GB/T 2828.1 is used as a normal sampling plan. | 5.2 | 6.2 | AQL=4.0 | ● | ● |
Coating thickness | The total number of bundles/rolls/reels/axles is the batch size, and the special inspection level S-3 in GB/T 2828.1 is used as a normal sampling plan. | 5.3 | 6.3 | AQL=2.5 | ● | ● |
Dimensions | The total number of bundles/rolls/reels/axles is the batch size, and the special inspection level S-3 in GB/T 2828.1 is used as a normal sampling plan. | 5.4 | 6.4 | AQL=2.5 | ● | ● |
Side curvature | The total number of bundles/rolls/reels/axles is the batch size, and the special inspection level S-3 in GB/T 2828.1 is used as a normal sampling plan. | 5.5 | 6.5 | AQL=2.5 | ● | ● |

Decision rules
When all type inspection items are qualified, the type inspection is deemed to be qualified.
If the chemical composition test of the tin-coated solder strip fails, the type test is judged to have failed.
If the appearance, coating thickness, dimensions or side curvature of the tin-coated solder strip fails to pass the inspection, it shall be re-inspected by sampling according to the special inspection level S-3 in GB/T 2828.1 and the sampling plan shall be tightened. If the mechanical properties, electrical properties, corrosion resistance, PCT accelerated aging performance, aging resistance or solderability of the tin-coated solder strip fail to pass the inspection, double sampling shall be conducted for re-inspection. If the re-inspection result is qualified, the type inspection is judged to be qualified; if the re-inspection result is still unqualified, the type inspection is judged to be unqualified.
